Tri-State Canyon Shootout - Fishing Tournament
25 Years of Premier Offshore Fishing
The Tri-State Canyon Shootout celebrates its 25th anniversary this July, marking a major milestone for one of the Northeast’s premier offshore fishing tournaments. Hosted by JB Tackle, the multi-day event brings top sportfishing teams to Block Island for competitive canyon fishing.
This year’s anniversary tournament will be based out of Champlin’s Marina & Resort, making the harbor a central gathering point throughout the week. Boats head offshore each morning and return in the afternoons for daily weigh-ins, drawing crowds to the docks.
With increased activity expected throughout tournament week, slip availability is limited and booking ahead is strongly encouraged. Guests can expect an energetic atmosphere as anglers, crews, and spectators gather dockside to watch the action unfold, with the afternoon weigh-ins serving as a signature highlight of the event.
