Off Soundings Spring Series Arrives

The Off Soundings Race Spring Series returns to Block Island in early June, bringing competitive sailing and classic New England racing to the waters surrounding the island.

Traditionally, the Friday race runs from Watch Hill, Rhode Island to Block Island, offering a challenging offshore course to kick off the weekend. Saturday’s race takes place in the vicinity of Block Island, often featuring courses that circle or showcase the island’s coastline.

Spectators can expect an exciting display of seamanship as boats arrive in the harbor and race throughout the surrounding waters. Champlin’s Marina & Resort is proud to welcome racers and guests for a weekend centered on sailing, camaraderie, and the start of the summer racing season.
